Keyboards
There's really not that much to discuss when it comes to the keyboards section. You can a keyboard display and you get your chords or scales displayed for you. Nothing to it.
Here are some examples of what you can expect from the tool:
Chords
That's the simplest way to make a G major chord on the piano. Nothing to it. The colourized keys use a colour scheme that matches the Intervals tool, in case you were wondering. A legend is displayed on the output pages by default to help you out as well.
Scales
Here we have a G major scale. Again, the notes are all colour coded. You can disable the colours if you want. I think it looks sharp.
Plaintext Output
You can output to nifty ASCII diagrams by selecting Text as your output method. Here's an example of our G major scale from above in plaintext:
C# D# F# G# A# ╔═╤═══╤╤═══╤═╤═╤═══╤╤═══╤╤═══╤═╤╗ ║ │ ││ │ │ │ ││ ││ │ │║ ║ │ ││ │ │ │ ││ ││ │ │║ ║ │ ││ │ │ │ ││ ││ │ │║ ║ │ ││ │ │ │ ││ ││ │ │║ ║ │ ││ │ │ │ ││ ││ │ │║ ║ │ ││ │ │ │VII││ ││ │ │║ ║ └─┬─┘└─┬─┘ │ └─┬─┘└─┬─┘└─┬─┘ │║ ║ │ │ │ │ │ │ │║ ║ │ │ │ │ │ │ │║ ║ │ │ │ │ │ │ │║ ║ │ │ │ │ │ │ │║ ║ IV│ V│ VI│ │ I│ II│III│║ ╚═══╧════╧═══╧═══╧════╧════╧═══╧╝ C D E F G A B
Since we can't really colour the output we use the interval degree symbols instead.
HTML Output
You can also spit out keyboard charts in HTML and CSS:
